Cris Pavloff, Advanced Technology Engineer, BMW Group Technology Office
Cris Pavloff is an Advanced Technology Engineer at the BMW Group Technology Office USA in Mountain View, CA - a division of BMW's Research and Technology Group. In this role, he scouts for, evaluates and develops cutting-edge technologies with US partners for the BMW Group (BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce, & BMW Motorcycles). Cris develops proof-of-concept prototypes to demonstrate new technologies and capabilities to production departments in BMW's Munich headquarters. One of his major focus areas is Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Highly-Automated Driving. Prior to joining BMW, Cris worked as an engineer in the semiconductor industry. He received his MSME degree with a focus in Smart Product Design from Stanford University and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California-Berkeley.
