Sravan founded Civil Maps, a computer vision robotics company that crowdsources 3D Semantic Maps and allows mobile robotics platforms to make decisions. I invented Video Fingerprinting for Linear Broadcast TV to compete with Neilson at my previous company. I wrote fairly substantive chunks of AI algorithms on cars which map the world in 3D--the most popular vehicular platform.
Sravan is a Co-Founder, Evangelist and Recruiter of a Rockstar A Player Team. Civil Maps has mapped the bay area in 3D using our AI and SLAM algorithms. Given the dramatic growth in mobile robotics platforms, artificial intelligence, over the air programming, and parallelization, our products solve complex problems and navigate versatile scenarios to provide tremendous competitive advantage for our clients who operate Autonomous Cars.
Most people who own a car or a television will use software I contributed to in some way. I contributed to software that runs in more than 30 million TVs and potentially millions of cars in the next decade.
Today I serve as CEO of Civil Maps, my focus is on navigating Civil Maps through a ecosystem of ADAS, Mapping and Localization & Car OEMs. In addition I am responsible for gathering and nurturing a rock star team and building an overall great company culture.
